Once an order is fulfilled in NetSuite, the shipping and tracking info is automatically exported to Commerce Cloud for further communication with the customer that placed the order.
The data flow exports order fulfillments from NetSuite to Commerce Cloud every 15 mins and includes export of data such as shipping method, fulfillment confirmation email, fulfillment quantity to Commerce Cloud. The connector only picks up orders that are completely fulfilled in NetSuite. The connector allows exporting single/multiple tracking numbers from NetSuite to Commerce Cloud.
Process: The connector pulls the NetSuite fulfilment information and moves it into the Celigo Container within Cloud Commerce (impex/src/celigo). A job Scheduler within Cloud Commerce then moves the fulfilment information to the backend site and the storefront. The job scheduler can be automated to run at certain frequencies or maybe triggered manually, as in the following example.
Steps: 1) Fulfil order in NetSuite 2) Run Fulfilment data flow in integrator.io 3) Run Fulfilment Job Scheduler in Cloud Commerce Cloud 4) Verify fulfilment info in Commerce Cloud site backend and send to customer.
The following screens depict the process.
Fulfil the order in NetSuite.
Go to the connector and Run the data flow from the settings section (click ‘Play’ button).
The dashboard provides the status of the jobs. Green indicates successful data transfer.
