As and when inventory is replenished or depleted in NetSuite, the inventory (quantity available) information is automatically exported to Commerce Cloud, keeping both systems always in sync.
The connector exports item inventory levels from NetSuite to Commerce Cloud every 15 mins. While exporting inventory level information, the connector only selects the items whose quantity level has been updated in NetSuite. By default, “Quantity Available” on the item record in NetSuite is synced with the corresponding product in Commerce Cloud. Items between NetSuite and Commerce Cloud can be matched via SKU, Internal Id or any other parameter. Inventory (Matrix & Non-Matrix), Assembly (Matrix & Non-Matrix) are supported. The data flow also supports single/multi-location inventory management. In the case of multi-locations, the quantity available at each location is summed up and sent to Commerce Cloud.
Process: The connector pulls the NetSuite inventory information and moves it into the Celigo Container within Cloud Commerce. A job Scheduler within Cloud Commerce then moves the inventory information to the backend site and the storefront. The job scheduler can be automated to run at certain frequencies or maybe triggered manually, as in the following example.
Steps: 1) Update inventory in NetSuite 2) Run Inventory data flow in integrator.io 3) Run Inventory Job Scheduler in Cloud Commerce Cloud 4) Verify inventory info (quantity available) in Commerce Cloud site backend and update storefront.
Adjust inventory in NetSuite.
Run the flow in the connector.
Data flow is successful.
Go to Celigo container in Cloud Commerce folder.
File is updated with new inventory values.
This file must then be processed and stored in the database of Cloud Commerce, so the site is updated with the latest inventory values. Run the inventory export job scheduler.
Open the file and run the scheduler as shown here (or you can directly select the file and run from this section).
Verify the data in the Merchant section. Go to Merchant Tools > Import & Export
Execute the export.
Go to the location and verify the file.
Click the file to view the data. (to see processing is successful inside cloud commerce)
