A new IO integration flow, Amazon Production Image Export to Item, enables you to migrate the product images from the Amazon Product Image custom record to the Item record in NetSuite. New Amazon-NetSuite Integration App on IO access the product images from the item record in NetSuite. In the legacy Amazon-NetSuite Integration App (Suite Script based), a custom record, Amazon Product Image, was used to store images of products in NetSuite. If you are migrating to our new Amazon-NetSuite Integration App on IO, it is necessary to store the images in the item record for the Integration App on IO to access the images.
Since this is only a one-time migration effort, the integration flow is not packaged in the OOTB product but instead available as an integration template. The template is packaged in a zip file that can be installed on your integrator.io account as a separate tile. You can find “Amazon product image migration.zip” file attached at the end of this article.
To install this flow on your integrator.io account using the integration template, you must leverage the templates feature of integrator.io. Templates pre-built is a lightweight integration use case or set of use cases that can be easily installed into any integrator.io account. Templates are used to package up an integration into a zip file, and then that template zip file can be shared with any other integrator.io user so that they can install a copy of the integration in their account (i.e. to possibly jump-start the implementation for a common integration solution). For more information on integrator.io templates, see Templates In Integrator.io.
Note: In order to access this flow using the zip file, you require access to the template feature of integrator.io. If you do not have a subscription to integrator.io, you may request a 30-day free trial by logging into your integrator.io account, going to https://integrator.io/my-account, and clicking 'Start Free Trial'. You will only have 30 days to complete the steps below and then the trial will expire.

The following are the recommended configurations and settings that must be completed in Shopify-NetSuite Integration App before you execute this flow:
- Click the Off /On switch to the enable the Amazon Production Image Export to Item flow.
- Click the Schedule icon and select the time zone and frequency of flow run.
- Click the Field Mappings icon and verify, update, or add field mappings as per your requirements. In the Mapping window, all the Valid Image Types are available (Main/Search/Swatch) in the Amazon Product Image custom record. You must map these to the corresponding fields in the Item record within NetSuite.
Note: The type of the source field and destination field must always be same. For example:- If the Image File field is being referenced on the Amazon Product Image record, the Image Type destination field must also be selected on the item record.
- If the External Image URL field is used on the Amazon Product Image record, the destination field of the Hyperlink /Free form text type must be selected to move the data in the item record.
- If the Image File field is being referenced on the Amazon Product Image record, the Image Type destination field must also be selected on the item record.
Steps depicting the test flow run
Recommendation: It is recommended to test the flow with one item’s image to check if the flow is able to import the images and URLs from the Image File field and External Image URL field in the assigned fields of the item record. You can do so by applying the filter in the saved search for any one item you wish to test.
Use the steps in the following example to test and verify that the mappings have been set up appropriately:
- In the NetSuite global search enter “Amazon product image search” and from the search results select the “Amazon Product Image Search - Migration” saved search. The Amazon Product Image Search - Migration: Results page is displayed.
- Click Edit this Search. The Saved Amazon Product Image Search page is displayed.
- Add additional criteria Parent Record and from the dialog box find and select the item you wish to use for testing the flow run. When you add this criteria, the Amazon Product Image Search - Migration saved search will only send the details of the selected item to the flow. Other entries of the Amazon Product Image custom record will be ignored by the flow.
- Click Set, a new criteria is added in the saved search. Click Save & Run.
- The Amazon Product Image Search - Migration: Results page will now display only one item added by you in the criteria.
- From your integrator.io account, click the Settings icon on the Amazon IO NS Migration tile.
- Click the Run Now button against the integration flow.
- The Amazon Production Image Export to Item flow is triggered in the Dashboard page. The Dashboard page allows you to monitor the progress and success of the flow run.
- Once the flow runs successfully, open the item record you have selected to be processed by the flow in NetSuite and verify that the fields selected by you in item record have been populated with imported data from the Amazon Product Image custom record as shown in the following image:
- The Amazon Product Image custom record:
- Item record populated from images imported from the Amazon Product Image custom record:
Note: In the above image, images have come in these fields as in the field Mapping, the highlighted fields were defined to migrate this information. Based on the mapping defined by you in the Fields Mappings window, these images will migrate into the fields in the item record.
- The Amazon Product Image custom record:
Once you have verified that the flow is working for importing product images for one item, you can remove the added filter and re-run the flow to import images for all items that had images stored in the Amazon Product Image custom record within NetSuite.
