Remote Site Settings Error

Issue: 

Remote Site Settings error when syncing records from Salesforce to NetSuite.

Error: 

Unauthorized endpoint, please check Setup->Security- >Remote site
settings.

Cause:                       

When NetSuite sets a Database move, the URL being used by the NetSuite account is reverted to a different URL. The new URL is not recognized by Salesforce, therefore producing the error.

Solution:       

Add Remote Site in Salesforce. 

  1. From Setup, enter Remote Site Settings in the Quick Find box, then select Remote Site Settings.
  2. Click New Remote Site.
  3. Enter a descriptive term for the Remote Site Name. Do not add any spaces or symbols.
  4. Enter the URL for the remote site. For the following sample, we used https://rest.eu2.netsuite.com.
  5. Optionally, enter a description of the site.
  6. Click Save.
