Install the Amazon Seller Central-NetSuite integration app

The Amazon Seller Central-NetSuite integration app helps online retailers combine the powerful Amazon online marketplace platform with the proven back-office features of NetSuite and keep the orders, customers, fulfillments, pricing & inventory levels in sync.

Before you install the integration app

Before you install the Amazon Seller Central-NetSuite integration app, perform the following:

  1. Perform the steps mentioned in the Prerequisites article.
  2. Install the integrator.io and Amazon bundles in NetSuite.
    1. Install integrator.io bundle in NetSuite.
    2. Install Amazon Bundle in NetSuite.

Install integrator.io bundle in NetSuite

  1. Login to your NetSuite account.
  2. Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.
  3. On the "Search & Install Bundles" page, in the Keywords field, enter Celigo integrator.io (bundle name) or 20038 (bundle ID).
  4. Click Search.

  5. Click Celigo.integrator.io.
  6. On the "Bundle Details" page, click Install.

  7. On the permission window, read through and click OK.

    Your bundle will now be installed and you can find the same in the Search & Installed Bundles page (Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > List).

Install Amazon bundle in NetSuite

  1. In NetSuite, go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.
  2. On the "Search & Install Bundles" page, in the Keywords field, enter Celigo Amazon Connector [IO] (bundle name) or 169116 (bundle ID).
  3. Click Search.
  4. Click Celigo Amazon Connector [IO].
  5. On the "Bundle Details" page, click Install.
  6. On the permission window, read through and click OK.
    Your bundle will now be installed and you can find the same in the Search & Installed Bundles page (Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > List).

Configure your NetSuite account

Enable Token-Based authentication in your NetSuite account

  1. Log in to your NetSuite account as an Administrator.
  2. Go to Setup > Company > Enable Features.
  3. On the "Enable Features" page, click SuiteCloud.
  4. In the Manage Authentication section, check the TOKEN-BASED AUTHENTICATION checkbox.
  5. Click Save.

Create a custom role in NetSuite

  1. In NetSuite, go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.
  2. On the "Manage Roles" page, next to the "Celigo eTail SmartConnectors" role, click Customize.
  3. On the "Role" page, in the Name field, enter a different name to clone the role.
  4. In the "Permissions" tab, configure the permissions as per your business needs as needed.
  5. Click Save.

Select NetSuite user and assign a role

Select the NetSuite user account that will be used to connect your Amazon SmartConnector. 

  1. In NetSuite, go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Users.
  2. On the "Manage Users" page, click on the appropriate user to connect your Amazon integration app.
  3. On the selected Employee page, click Edit.
  4. Go to Access tab > Roles sub-tab.
  5. Select the role that was created in the "Create a custom role in NetSuite" step.
  6. Click Save.

Generate NetSuite Access Tokens

  1. In NetSuite, go to Setup > Users/Roles > Access Tokens > New.

  2. In the APPLICATION NAME drop-down box, select eTail Connectors (Token-Based Auth).
  3. In the USER drop-down list box, select the user name that you have edited in the previous step.
  4. In the ROLE drop-down list box, select the role that was assigned to the user.
  5. The TOKEN NAME populates automatically. Modify the name as needed.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Token ID & Token Secret will be displayed. Save the tokens in a place where you can copy it into your Celigo connection as described in the next section.

Install the Amazon - NetSuite integration app

Prerequisite Be sure that you have a valid subscription license to install the integration app.

  1. Log in to your integrator.io account.
  2. In the left pane, click Marketplace.
  3. On the Marketplace page, click Amazon.
  4. Click Install.
    Note: If you see Contact Sales, instead of Install, contact your Account Executive to check the status of your integration app license.
  5. On the "My Integrations" page, you can now see the Amazon - NetSuite integration app. On the tile, click Continue setup.

On the Install integration: Amazon - NetSuite page, continue the following:

Step 1: Configure the NetSuite connection

Next to the NetSuite connection step, click Configure. To configure a NetSuite connection, see Set up a connection to NetSuite.

Step 2: Configure Amazon connection

Next to the Amazon connection step, click Configure. To configure an Amazon connection, see Set up a connection to Amazon.

Step 3: Install the integrator bundle

As you have already installed the integrator.io bundle, click Install. You’ll be navigated to the NetSuite account page.

  1. Log in to NetSuite using your NetSuite credentials.
  2. Click Verify Now link.
    You’ll be redirected back to the Install integration: Amazon NetSuite page.

Step 4: Install the Amazon bundle

As you have already installed the Amazon bundle, click Install.

Step 5: Quickstart configuration

  1. Next to the Quickstart configuration step, click Install.
  2. On the Quickstart configuration window, either choose Configure now or Configure later.
  • If you choose Configure later, you’ll be redirected to the Flows page on the successful installation of the integration app
  • If you choose to Configure now, continue to configure the settings as per your business requirements. For more information, see Understand the Amazon quickstart configuration.
Notes:
  • After you install the integration app successfully, by default, all the integration flows are disabled.
  • You must obtain your Seller ID, Marketplace ID, and MWS Authentication Token (account identifiers) first before you can complete this step. The process to generate these account identifiers is described in the following section: Enable Developer Access for Celigo in Amazon Seller Central (Registration).

  • I would like to suggest a small modification to the step indicating to use the "Manage Users" page. Manage users includes customers, contacts, vendors, partners, and employees with access to the NetSuite account and may be confusing for some.

    A clearer path would be to Lists > Employees > Employees so that you only see employee accounts.
