- Available flows:
- Listing ID
Every time a new item is listed in eBay, a listing ID is associated with it. The connector imports this listing ID and adds it against the SKU in NetSuite. A Listing ID associated with an item is used by the connector to find the item in eBay when you want to update any item information from NetSuite to eBay.
Connector fails to update this information if the listing ID in NetSuite is missing or does not match with listing ID on eBay. So, it is important to always have this information in sync within eBay and NetSuite account. The eBay Item ID to NetSuite Mass Update flow in the Inventory section allows you ensure that item ID information related to an SKU is always in sync.
You can consider this flow as the pre-requisites for running other inventory flows as this flow ensures that connector has required parameter in NetSuite and eBay to update the item information in eBay.
When you run this flow it links to all existing active eBay listing with matching NetSuite SKUs. The process starts with finding an item in NetSuite with matching SKU. The following screen displays the field Mappings associated with this flow:
When an SKU match is found, connector compares the listing ID associated with the SKU in eBay with listing ID in NetSuite and updates the eBay listing ID in NetSuite if the listing ID in NetSuite is different or not found in NetSuite. This information is stored in the Celigo eBay Item ID Account Map List custom record in NetSuite which stores the eBay Listing ID value, Item and eBay Account information. Connector only populates active items in this custom record.
- This integration flow is supported with the starter (previously "standard") edition of eBay - NetSuite Connector.
- This functionality supports multiple eBay accounts.
- Matrix items are also supported. In the case of Matrix item, connector updates the Parent listing ID for all child items and assign individual SKU’s associated with all child items.
Data flows export item inventory levels from NetSuite to eBay every 15 mins. By default, “Quantity Available” on the item record in NetSuite is synced with the corresponding product in eBay. The connector provides support for summarizing inventory levels across multiple inventory locations in NetSuite and exports the total to eBay.
Note: To mark a NetSuite Item for Inventory export, you should select the “eBay” as a channel in the “eTail Channel” custom field provided under “eTail” Subtab on the Item record.
Item types: The following items are supported:
- Inventory (Matrix & Non-Matrix),
- Assembly (Matrix & Non-Matrix),
- Kit Items.
The Inventory & Pricing Export flow supports standard NetSuite inventory management along with multi-location inventory management. If you use multi-location inventory, the Connector sums the quantity available for each location and sends the total quantity available to eBay. If only certain locations should be considered for exporting inventory to eBay, it is possible to specify them.
eBay Ended Listings to NetSuite Update
The eBay Ended Listings to NetSuite Update integration flow enables you to update information about listings which have ended in eBay into NetSuite. When you run this flow, the connector automatically identifies the ended listing on your eBay account and updates the ended listing information in NetSuite so that inventory and pricing flow doesn’t consider this item at the time of exporting item and price information from NetSuite. An error is generated when the connector tries to update item information associated with the listing that has ended on eBay but when this information is not in sync with the NetSuite item record.
The changes are updated in the Celigo eBay Item Id Account Map record in NetSuite only when the item in eBay meets all the following lookup criteria:
Along with the flow, a new checkbox, Sync all ended listings with NetSuite, has also added to support this feature. When the checkbox is enabled, the connector will sync all the ended listings in the last 120 days (that meets the above lookup criteria) on eBay with NetSuite.
Typically, you would only need this for the initial sync. After the flow is run for the first time and listing ended in last 120 days is updated in NetSuite, we recommend to uncheck this checkbox. When unchecked, the connector will only sync the listings that ended between the time of last and the current flow run.
Changes in NetSuite
The following are the major changes made into NetSuite to support this feature:
- New fields added to the Celigo eBay Item Id Account Map record
- LISTING ENDED
The checkbox indicates if the item is active on eBay. This checkbox is marked as checked when the item’s associated listing ends on eBay.
You can also use this check box to reactivate the item and update information. For more information, see How to activate ended listing for an item on eBay?
- LISTING ENDED TIME
The field provides information on the exact time when the listed was ended on eBay. Along with marking the above field as checked, the connector also updates the time at which listing ended for an item on eBay.
