The Tasks flow syncs a NetSuite Project tasks as a JIRA Issue of type Task whenever a new Task is created or updated. This flow is bi-directional and can be configured to sync JIRA Issue of type Task to NetSuite Project tasks whenever a new Task is created or updated.
The following screens depict an example: Update a NetSuite project with a project task and view the data sync into JIRA.
Creating a task in NetSuite project.
The data flows are displayed in the settings section. Turn on the data flow and view the status of the real time flow in the integrator dashboard.
The integrator.io dashboard indicates the status of the real time data flow.
JIRA is updated with the task information instantly.
JIRA internal ID is reflected in the NetSuite task record, indicating successful import of record.
Note:
When entering decimal values in the ESTIMATED WORK field, ensure that in your JIRA instance, under Jira Settings > Issues > Time tracking, the Default unit for time tracking field is set to Hour. Otherwise, the connector flow will error out.
Project Sync Advanced Settings
- Sync the following JIRA Issue Types as NetSuite Project Tasks: This setting allows you to choose JIRA Issue Types which will be synced as NetSuite Project Tasks. Select from the list. Refresh (cured arrows to fetch the latest list)
- Default JIRA Project Type: While syncing NetSuite Project to JIRA Project if no JIRA Project Type is selected then the JIRA Project will be created with this default project type. Select from the list. Refresh (cured arrows to fetch the latest list)
