If a customer enters information into the wrong field, Magento may accept the error as long as it fits within the formatting criteria. For example, the customer may enter the zip code into the phone number field. Magento accepts this since both are numbers. However, once the record is synced to NetSuite, the record fails to import resulting in an error message such as:
Result: errorcode="INVALID_FLD_VALUE" errormsg="Failed to sync sales order with Magento Order Id: 100010169. You have entered an Invalid Field Value 08731 for the following field: phone"
The connector is not rejecting the orders. It is passing the information to NetSuite but NetSuite won't accept the value since it doesn't meet the criteria required in NetSuite. For example, if you try to manually create a new customer in NetSuite and a add phone number with less than 7 numbers in the field, NetSuite will reject it and will not allow you to save the information.
- Update your website with the same requirements as NetSuite. For example, do not allow the customer to enter a phone number that is less than 7 digits.
- Remove the value for the field in Magento to import the order into NetSuite.
- Remove the mapping for the specific field in the Connector (can be done temporarily to allow the record to process.
