New opportunity product Description field - There is a new custom field available on the Opportunity Products page called Description. The field holds 32,000 characters and when an opportunity product is created, it auto-populates from the Product Description field on the product record. This field can be used in lieu of the Line Description field (to map to the NetSuite line item description field). By default, the connector uses the standard Salesforce Line Description field. If you would like to use this new Description field as the new default, please log a support case with Celigo.
New popup for status pages - When a connector button like Quote, Sales Order, or Update from NetSuite is clicked, the user is no longer routed to a custom page. Instead, a popup displays the sync status information.
Auto-close open quotes when opportunity becomes sales order - When an opportunity in Salesforce is converted to a sales order in NetSuite, the connector now finds all open quotes in NetSuite for that opportunity and marks them as Processed.
Bulk triggers - Triggers used in the connector product no longer execute on a per record basis. Now, large data uploads/cleanses no longer result in Apex usage exceptions.
New discounting functionality - Two new custom fields are now available on the Opportunity Products page:
List Price - This field is identical to the standard List Price field, except it is editable. This allows the end user to display a custom list price for the customer to see.
Discount % - This field calculates based on the difference between List Price (the custom field) and Sale Price (the standard field). The field can also be set directly, in which case the Sale Price field will recalculate. By default, these fields are not used by the connector. If you would like to use them instead of the Salesforce standard fields, please log a support case with Celigo.
More robust session handling - The connector will not use a predefined credential when session IDs sent via Salesforce outbound messaging are no longer valid. Taking advantage of session IDs in the outbound messages minimizes the risk of usage exceptions, but if any one user does exceed their limit or a timeout occurs for a particular session ID, the connector now uses a predefined credential to establish a new session and complete the request.
Streamlined customer merge process - A small change was made to the connector to support a skimmed down version of the merge operation. (Previously, a custom field in Salesforce for the NetSuite ID had to be reconciled as well).
Fixed issues with multiple attachments not transferring to NetSuite - On the Quote page, you can attach files (a signed PO for example), and when the quote is converted to a sales order in NetSuite, the files transfer as well. Previously, there was an issue where only one file was sent (even when there were multiple files attached). Now, all files are get sent.
