Salesforce Quotes can be synced with NetSuite Estimates. You can provide discount line items on the NetSuite side. (Tax and shipping added to the NetSuite Estimate are synced back to the Salesforce Quote – this is the standard flow)
Sync Discount Line Item
If checked, this enables the NetSuite discount item to Salesforce custom discount item flow. In Salesforce, a custom discount line object is created that can be added to a Quote and this item can be synced. Any updates done on the NetSuite side can be pushed to the Salesforce side.
Discount line items is a custom implementation. If you want to add a discount line item in the Order, the custom discount line item object is created in Salesforce and it is associated with the products that are added.
Do Not Allow Discount Override
If checked, this prevents users from overriding Line item Discount amounts from Salesforce Quotes. If you have attached a discount line item in Salesforce, and you want to prevent a sales rep (in Salesforce) from changing the item (amount or percentage), select the check box. The NetSuite setting will always take precedence.
For example, if you have created a discount item in NetSuite and you added this into the order in Salesforce, no change can be made to this Salesforce order.
Click Save Settings to complete the Opportunity Attachment Sync configuration.
Support for updating Salesforce Quote line items from NetSuite – You can add and update Quote line items in Salesforce Quote directly from NetSuite Estimates.
Sync attachments and notes from Salesforce Quote to NetSuite Quote – You can choose to sync attachments and notes in your Salesforce Quote to NetSuite while syncing the Salesforce Quote to the NetSuite Quote.
Sync Contacts when the Quote is synced – You can sync Contacts from Salesforce to NetSuite when the Salesforce Quote is synced to the NetSuite Quote.
