In this new update for the Salesforce Connector, we have enhanced few existing data flows in the Connector and implemented a number of performance improvements. The highlights are:
Financial transactions on Opportunity - Financial transactions on the NetSuite Sales Order such as:
- customer deposit,
- customer payment,
are now synced to the associated Salesforce Opportunity as well. Earlier these were only synced to the Salesforce Account.
Remaining financial transactions
- cash refund
- cash sale
- credit memo
continue to be synced to both Salesforce Account and Opportunity.
- Filtering of Contacts - We have introduced a new setting for the Connector where you can choose which Contacts to sync from Salesforce to NetSuite based on the Contact role sublist on Account or Opportunity. Only Contacts with selected roles will be synced from Salesforce to NetSuite.
Steps for updating your Salesforce Connector:
To upgrade your Salesforce Connector to the latest version, please request a Salesforce Connector bundle update in your NetSuite account from the Celigo team. Also make sure you update the following Connector packages in your Salesforce account to the latest version.
