*** !! Update - Feb 13, 2019 - NetSuite has started rolling out changes to mandatory 2FA. In light of this, please use the following role when updating NetSuite connections:
In some cases, it might still throw additional errors like in one case we found that it was looking for permission to edit currency. If you get a similar error, you will need to make a copy of the role and add the necessary permissions. Take note of the role id and assign the new role to the NetSuite user account being used by the connector before proceeding to the steps below. You will notice that screenshots below have the role id of 3 which is for Administrator. Please make sure to use the new role id instead.
When the NetSuite password changes/expires for the Magento Connector user, it needs to be updated in Integrator IO and in the Magento admin panel. Please follow these steps to update connections.
Integrator IO to NS connection
If your Integrator IO is connected to your NetSuite account, you will also need to update the connection. This is basically the IO interface connecting into NetSuite to retrieve the Magento connector info.
Click on the waffle on top then click on connections:
Click on edit on the NetSuite connection
Update the username, password, role id (3 is for admin), and make sure account number is correct.
Updating the connection for the Magento Connector
Click on the Settings Icon on the Magento tile. Take note that this tile will not appear if the previous step to update IO to NS connection is not successful. This is because the tile information is retrieved from NetSuite.
Click on Connections
Click on the edit icon for the NetSuite connection
Enter the new username/email and password and click on Save. Take note that default Role ID for Administrator is 3.
Go to System > Configuration
Click on Magento Connector, NetSuite Integration User Details. Update credentials. Do not click on Check Now because it will use the current credentials and not the new ones. Save first. You can click on Check Now after saving.
Also update NetSuite connection with Celigo Control Panel portlet to ensure backend credentials are updated in the server.
You will need to add this custom portlet. this can be done in the hope dashboard. enter the email address and password and click submit.
