Set up a connection to Klaviyo (Latest)

Klaviyo is a marketing automation platform designed to help businesses grow by leveraging data-driven insights to create personalized and targeted email and SMS marketing campaigns.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings: 

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name.
Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.
API type *

Choose your Klaviyo API type:

  • Multiple: Get account, campaign, catalog, coupon, event, flow, image, list, metric, profile, report, segment, template, and tag details
  • Client: Get client details
Private key *

Enter your Klaviyo private key.
Multiple layers of protection are in place, including AES 256 encryption, to keep your connection’s private key safe. When editing this form later, you must enter this key again; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

Public key *

Enter your Klaviyo public key.

Revision * Enter your Klaviyo API endpoint version in YYYY-MM-DD format.

How to retrieve the private key and public key

  1. Sign in to your Klaviyo account.
  2. Navigate to Account > Settings > API keys.
  3. Copy the Public API key.
  4. Click Create Private API key.
  5. Enter a Name.
  6. Select the Scopes.
  7. Copy the Private API key.
