What is changing
Amazon has announced that as of January 30, 2019, older Category Inventory Templates (that are used to list products on Amazon) will no longer be accepted. Some of the Sub-Categories in certain Categories will either be deprecated or else moved to a new Category. These changes vary across Amazon domains. Please see the section "Amazon Announcement" on this page for more details.
Edit: This date was initially set to June 26, 2018, by Amazon but then on Jun 21, 2018, Amazon sent another advisory to merchants revising the timeline to January 30, 2019.

Recommended action
If you are currently using any Sub-Categories that will be changed by Amazon, beginning June 21st you will be able to update your product mappings to ensure your Celigo Amazon-NetSuite Integration App continues to work for these products. If you do not have any product listings using the impacted product Sub-Categories, you do not need to take any further actions. Also, this only impacts customers that is on the standard (previously "premium") or premium (previously "enterprise") edition of the Integration App and does not impact starter (previously "standard") edition, the customer.
Update: Celigo is in the process of pushing the following product updates to your Amazon - NetSuite Integration App. If you do not see the following changes to the product categories in your integrator.io account already, you can assume the release has not been pushed to your account yet. Please wait another day and allow us some more time to push these updates to all our customers.

Required Action |
A Sub-Category has been deprecated |
The suffix, [Deprecated], will be added to the sub-category name in the Integration App for you to easily recognize these deprecated sub-categories. See below for a sample screenshot. |
Please contact Amazon support team to inquire about the alternate category and sub-category for listing your item. Once the relevant category and subcategory are identified, you are required to manually create the same mappings in the new category > sub-category as present in the deprecated sub-category mappings. |
A subcategory has been moved to a different category |
The suffix, [Moved to “Category Name”], will be added to the sub-category name in the Integration App for you to easily recognize such sub-categories. Example - the CableOrAdapter subcategory in old templates was part of the Camera and Photo category. However, in the new template, this category has moved to the Consumer Electronics category. So, in the Integration App, you will see a suffix CableOrAdapter [Moved to Consumer Electronics]. |
In this situation, we recommend you to manually create the same mapping in the new category > sub-category as present in the moved to sub-category mappings. |
Variation Attribute associated with the following subcategory of the Camera and Photo category has been deleted:
|
In the Integration App, the Configure Variation icon to configure Variation Attributes has been removed, which was present in the previous release. |
No action is required, we have removed the icon of configuring variation from such sub-categories. |
