Problem: Sync did not complete successfully.
Solution: Go to Salesforce Setup->Remote Site Settings. Based off the error, find the entry for rest.netsuite.com and activate it.

What worked for me what copying the first part of the URL in the error (ending with netsuite.com -- ours is https://<account_number>.restlets.api.netsuite.com) as a new item in the remote site settings in SF. Once this was activated, the error was resolved and the sync worked as intended.
I think the endpoint address may have changed with the most recent Netsuite update, so this article may become more popular.
