Set up a connection to Extensiv (Formerly 3PL Central)

Extensiv is a cloud-based warehouse management system designed for third-party logistics companies to manage multiple customers, processes, and billing schedules

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, you have to configure it in the Create connection panel and must complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Setting

Instructions

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

OAuth 2.0 client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the API key (client ID and client secret) provided to you by Extensiv.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus ( + ) button. Click the edit ( pencil.svg ) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource.

3PL GUID *

Enter your Extensiv GUID value, for example, {b***82f-f**7-4**9-a2x1-e********aa4}. Contact the Extensiv Warehouse you are working with for this project and have them submit a request for REST API access to their Extensiv Customer Success Manager.

Userlogin ID  *

Enter your Extensiv UserLogin ID. Contact your Extensiv warehouse team and submit a request for your UserLogin ID or an authentication key. The authentication key will not work with transaction requests such as orders and receivers. Hence, for transaction requests, you must use a UserLogin ID.

Environment *

Select your Extensiv account environment type:

Production: if your Extensiv account URL is https://secure-wms.com.

Sandbox: if your Extensiv account URL is https://box.secure-wms.com.

Tip

This connector documentation describes only the settings shown for the Simple view. For the corresponding HTTP settings, see OAuth 2.0 universal connector documentation.

Note

If you do not have the above REST API Keys, contact the Extensiv Warehouse you are working with for this project and have them submit a request for REST API access to their 3PL Central Customer Success Manager.
