Release notes v1.7.2, April 2018
What’s enhanced
Support for multiple price book in the Pricing flow
Prior to this release, the connector only supported price update for one NetSuite Price Level and NetSuite Currency (Price book)using the NetSuite Pricing to Commerce Cloud Pricing Add/Update flow.
With this release, the connector has been enhanced to support multiple price book import using the NetSuite Pricing to Commerce Cloud Pricing Add/Update flow. A new Pricing > Advanced Setting > Map NetSuite Price Levels to SFCC Price Book Ids has been added to support this feature.
This setting allows you to map specific price levels in NetSuite of single/multiple currencies to specific Price Books in Salesforce Commerce Cloud. For each row, you need to provide a unique combination of the field values. A unique combination of one NetSuite Price Level and NetSuite Currency generates one Price Book in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

What’s new
Support for tracking gift card sale in NetSuite
A new setting, NetSuite item to track Commerce Cloud gift card sale, has been added in the Order section > Advanced Setting. This field allows you to define the internal id of the NetSuite’s default item. When the order with the commerce cloud gift card sale is imported in NetSuite, the connector imports the gift card as a NetSuite default item on the sales order. This default NetSuite item is always imported as the line item in the sales order.

Release notes v1.6.3, December 2017
What’s new
- Support for uninstalling the Salesforce Commerce Cloud-NetSuite connector
The Salesforce Commerce Cloud-NetSuite connector has been enhanced to allow you to uninstall the connector from your integrator.io account. If you uninstall this connector, the connector tile is also removed from your integrator.io account and all associated information with the connector is deleted from your integrator.io account. After uninstalling you can reinstall from the marketplace as long as you have a valid subscription
For more information, see How to uninstall the connector? - Support for the customer import flow to include order data
The Commerce Cloud Customer to NetSuite Customer Add flow can now be configured through Field Mappings to also include information pertaining to an order. With this feature, you can add a mapping in the Commerce Cloud Customer to NetSuite Customer Add flow for importing any order information you want to be included in the customer record. While adding the mapping, you are required to enter "_parent." as a prefix in the Export Field (Webhook) column. Without this prefix, the order information you want to include in customer record will not be imported.
What's Improved
- Support for the tax line item in sales order to include quantity and net price
When you select a value for the NetSuite item to track Commerce Cloud tax amount as a line item drop-down list, the sales order in NetSuite is created with additional line item to track tax amount. Prior to this enhancement, this line item to track tax amount did not populate any value for the quantity and net price. With this release, the connector has been enhanced to populate these values also in NetSuite for the additional line item which is created to track tax amount.
-
Generate error when multiple matches are found for customer with same email id
If multiple matches are found for a customer with same email id, ideally the connector should throw a valid error message rather than updating the first matching customer record in NetSuite. Prior to this release, the connector use to update the first matching customer record in case NetSuite had multiple customer records found using email as lookup criteria. This sometimes resulted in overriding incorrect record. With this release, this feature has been enhanced to generate an error when the lookup criteria is email and multiple customers record exit in NetSuite for the same customer.
Release notes v1.6.0, August 2017
What’s new
- Support for Token-Based Authentication (TBA)
The Shopify - NetSuite connector now supports token-based authentication. Once you have configured your NetSuite Account Credentials using the Basic authentication type, you can go to the Connections option, locate the NetSuite Connection and click the Edit icon. The connection page is displayed. From this page, select the Authentication type value as Token and enter the required information.
For more information see, How to change NetSuite Connection from Basic to Token?
- NetSuite Refund to Commerce Cloud Refund Add
Once a Commerce Cloud order is refunded in NetSuite by creating a cash refund or credit memo transaction in NetSuite, the connector exports this data and creates a corresponding refund record in the History tab associated with the same order on Commerce Cloud.
Note: Connector does not update the status of the order when you execute the refund flow. The connector supports partial refunds created as Cash Refunds or Credit Memos in NetSuite.
For more information on refund export see, NetSuite Refund to Commerce Cloud Refund Add.
Release notes v1.4.0, July 2017
What’s new
Support for creating customer deposits from sales orders in NetSuite
If you capture the payment as soon as the order is placed, you might have the requirement for the customer deposits to be created as soon as an order is imported from Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) to NetSuite. The following two flows have been added to support this enhancement:
- Commerce Cloud Order Transaction to NetSuite Add
This is an optional flow. If you enable this flow, the connector adds all the transactions records for a SFCC order into NetSuite and ties them to the sales order for reconciliation purposes with the payment gateway. This flow is real-time with respect to Order imported in NetSuite.
- Commerce Cloud Transaction to NetSuite Customer Deposit Add
If you charge customers at the time of sale and before the order is fulfilled, this integration flow can be leveraged to create customer deposits in NetSuite as soon as the order is imported into NetSuite. To enable this integration flow, use the “Off/On” option. Once the order is fulfilled, you can apply the order invoice to this customer deposit. The integration flow creates one customer deposit per each payment method used on the order.
For more information see, Customer Deposit.
Support for mapping "Multi-Select" SFCC custom attributes in Item Export
Prior to this enhancement, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) connector did not support mapping multi-select field with NetSuite. When a NetSuite multi-select field was mapped with SFCC, SFCC only use to consume the first value from NetSuite field ignoring other values associated with the field.
With this enhancement, SFCC Connector supports exporting all the multi-select values from NetSuite to SFCC.
Release notes v1.1.0, January 2017
What’s new
- Support for exporting cancellations from NetSuite to Commerce Cloud:
- A new section "Cancellation" & a new data flow "NetSuite Cancellation to Commerce Cloud Cancellation" in that section has been added to the "Settings" page.
- This is a batch flow that will pick orders canceled in NetSuite on a scheduled basis & mark the orders as canceled in Commerce Cloud.
- You can turn on this data flow from the "Settings" section of the connector in the integrator.io.
Note: Coming up is the support for exporting products & refunds from NetSuite to Commerce Cloud. Happy Integrating!
