Set up a connection to Expensya

Expensya is an AI‑powered expense management platform that automates receipt capture, categorization, approval workflows, and policy enforcement for businesses.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

API token *

Enter your Expensya account API token.

Multiple layers of protection are in place, including AES 256 encryption, to keep your connection’s API token safe. When editing this form later, you must enter this token again; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

How to retrieve the API token

  1. Sign in to your Expensya account.

  2. Navigate to Administration > Integrations.

  3. Click API keys.

  4. Click Generate token.

  5. Copy the API token.
