Configure and run flows in the Amazon Seller Central - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central quickstart integration template

Additional record mapping is required to integrate the template’s exports and imports with your Amazon Seller Central and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central apps.

Note that all of your flows are disabled when first installed. After configuring the flows, you may enable them in your Flows dashboard or in Flow Builder with the Off/On toggle button. then run or schedule each flow.

Amazon Seller Central orders to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central sales orders

When an order is created in Amazon Seller Central the integration flow exports orders from Amazon Seller Central and imports them into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as sales orders.

Before you begin

  1. Verify that Item Id in Amazon Seller Central and Item Number in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are the same.
  2. Verify that the Payment Method name in Amazon Seller Central and Payment Method code in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are the same.
  3. Verify that Shipment Service Level Category name in Amazon Seller Central and Shipment Method displayName in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are the same.
  4. Create a Non-Inventory item in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with Item Number 'AMZGIFTWRAP'.

Setup instructions

  1. Verify that the concurrency level for your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central connection is set to 1.

  • Export source: Amazon Seller Central
    • Export: Get Amazon Seller Central orders - retrieves all orders since the last time the flow ran and transforms data from XML to JSON.
    • Lookup: Get Amazon Seller Central orderitems - retrieves all order items by itemID.
  • Import destination: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
    • Lookup: Get Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central companies by displayName - retrieves all companies by displayName
    • Import: Import Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central customers - adds or updates Amazon Seller Central customers as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central customers.
    • Import: Import Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central sales orders - adds new or ignores existing Amazon Seller Central orders as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central sales orders.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central fulfillments (SO with status fulfilled) to Amazon Seller Central fulfillments

When a sales order is created in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central the integration flow exports the ShipmentmethodId from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central sales order API and imports it into Amazon Seller Central as a fulfillment.

Setup instructions

  1. Open the Get Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central companies by displayName export flow step and click Launch under Configure search parameters to create a filter to retrieve company details.

  1. Configure the TimeZone for Fulfillment Date.
  2. Configure the mapping for the tracking number on the Amazon Seller Central fulfillment import import step.

Before you begin

  1. Verify that the Amazon order id is stored as externalDocumentNumber in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central sales orders.
  2. Verify the OrderItemId in Amazon and the number of Items in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are the same.
  3. Verify the CarrierName in Amazon and the ShipMethod in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business central are the same.

    • Lookup: Get Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central sales order lines by sales order id - retrieves all sales order lines for all sales orders since the last time the flow ran.
    • Lookup: Get Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central shipment method - retrieves all shipment methods since the last time the flow ran.
