If you have an integration with many flows and you have the appropriate access, you can create groups and assign flows to groups to keep them organized. Each flow group acts as a folder. When you click the flow group name, only flows assigned to that group are displayed.
Keep in mind that flow groups are simply a tool to categorize flows within an integration. Assigning a flow to a group does not impact scheduling or other flow configuration settings that determine when a flow runs.
Note: As an alternative to organizing groups using this feature, you can use the API to create flow groups.
Create a flow group
- From the Home page, click the integration containing the flows you want to organize.
- On the far right, click …More and then select + Create flow group.
- Enter a meaningful Name for the group. For example, use a name to describe the overall business process that occurs when these flows run, such as Fulfillment or Billing.
- Select each flow you want to include in the group.
- Click Save & close.
Repeat this process for each additional group you want to create. Keep in mind:
- All flows that you do not assign appear under a system group called "Unassigned".
- Each flow can only be assigned to one group at a time. If you initially assign a flow to Group A and then later create Group B where you include that same flow, the flow will only appear in Group B.
Reorder flow groups
- On the Flows tab, hover over a group name on the left.
- Click the handle icon that appears, then drag and drop the group.
- Repeat with each group as needed to achieve the desired order.
Keep in mind that you can schedule flows and configure flows to run in succession to control when flows run. The order of groups, or flows within each group, does not determine the run schedule.
Edit a flow group
You can edit a flow group to change its name, or assign/remove flows from the group.
- From the Home - My Integrations page, click the integration containing the flow group you want to modify.
- On the Flows tab, select the group you want to modify.
- On the far right, click …More and then select + Edit flow group.
- Change the name or flow assignments as needed.
- Click Save & close.
Delete a flow group
Deleting a flow group moves its flows to the system "Unassigned" group. No flows are deleted.
- From the Home - My Integrations page, click the integration containing the flow group you want to delete.
- On the Flows tab, select the group.
- On the far right, click …More and then select + Edit flow group.
- Click Delete flow group, and then click Delete under the confirmation message.
