Set up a connection to Agiloft

Agiloft is a contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform that helps organizations create, negotiate, manage, and analyze contracts throughout their entire lifecycle

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Name your connection * 

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

API type *

Choose your Agiloft API type:

  • REST: Access and manage Agiloft data using modern, resource-based endpoints to build flexible, scalable integrations with external systems and applications.

  • SOAP: Integrate with Agiloft using legacy, contract-based web services for structured data exchange and compatibility with older enterprise systems.

Auth type: Token

Knowledge base's base URL *

Enter your Agiloft knowledge base's base URL.

Username *

Enter your Agiloft username.

Password *

Enter your Agiloft password.

Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your password safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

Knowledge base name *

Enter your Agiloft knowledge base name which is located at the top-right corner of your profile screen.

Auth type: OAuth 2.0

Knowledge base's base URL *

Enter your Agiloft knowledge base's base URL.

Contact ID *

Enter your Agiloft account contact ID.

OAuth 2.0 client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided to you by Agiloft. For more information, see General OAuth 2.0 SSO setup.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus ( + ) button. Click the edit  (pencil.svg) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource

Grant type *

Select your OAuth 2.0 grant type (either Authorization code, Authorization code with PKCE or Client credentials).

Code challenge method *

Select your Agiloft code challenge method (either Plain or s256).

API type: SOAP

Knowledge base server *

Enter your Agiloft knowledge base server.

Knowledge base name *

Enter your Agiloft knowledge base name which is located at the top-right corner of your profile screen.

Language *

Enter your Agiloft account language.

Username *

Enter your Agiloft username.

Password *

Enter your Agiloft password.

How to retrieve the client ID and client secret

  1. Sign in to your Agiloft account.

  2. Navigate to Setup > Access > Configure OAuth 2.0 profiles.

  3. Click New.

  4. Select the Use full OAuth account name as a KB login name/email checkbox.

  5. Enter a Name.

  6. Select the Role.

  7. Enter the Celigo integrator.io Redirect URL. For more information, see General OAuth 2.0 SSO setup.

  8. Copy the Client ID.

  9. Copy the Client secret.
