Enable a Celigo-hosted SFTP file server for an environment so your account-holders can exchange files with you through Celigo Storage. Enabling the server, choosing its identifier, and copying the connection details for your account-holders takes a few minutes.

Prerequisites:
- Your subscription includes the file server add-on. The add-on is licensed independently of B2B Manager and is off by default.
- You are signed in as the account owner or an administrator.
Enable the file server
- Select an environment.
- Go to Resources
> File storage, then select File server from the top of the page.
- Select SFTP server from the left side of the page.
- Select Set up file server.

Enter a File server identifier. The identifier must be unique within your region. Use 3–30 characters - lowercase letters, numbers, or hyphens only.
Caution
You can't change the identifier after you turn the file server on. Choose a name your organization can keep, because it is part of every account-holder's sign-in (
<username>@<identifier>). - Select Turn on file server.
Enabling and disabling the file server, and the identifier you select, are recorded in the platform audit log.
Copy the connection details
After you enable the file server, the connection details block shows everything an account-holder needs to connect, ready to copy:
- Host — The regional host URL.
- Port — 22.

Login format —
<username>@<identifier>, where the username comes from the account-holder's file server account.

Disable the file server
Disabling the file server for an environment stops all account-holder connections immediately, including active sessions. Your configuration and accounts are retained, and account-holders can connect again when you re-enable it.
- Select an environment.
- Go to Resources
- Select SFTP server from the left side of the page.
- Select Turn off file server.
