To integrate successfully between Amazon, Shopify, and SAP Business ByDesign accounts, you have to install and configure the Multi-Customer Solution in your SAP Business ByDesign account. The Multi-Customer Solution is an add-on capability by SAP Business ByDesign that offers rich enhancement capabilities, allowing partners to create different types of solutions. The integration scenario is applicable for Add-On solutions of type MCS (Multi-Customer-Solution), built with the SAP Cloud Applications Studio, and running on SAP Business ByDesign.
Step 1: Create a development user
Step 1a: Create a new service agent
- From the left menu (Work Center Navigation), go to Project Management > Common Tasks > New Service Agent.
- On the Service Agent page, in the Service Agent ID, enter the ID.
- Enter the First Name and Last Name in the respective fields.
- On the button pane, click Request User.
- Click Save and Close.
Step 1b: Assign user ID and password
- From the left-menu (Work Center Navigation), go to Application and User Management > Business Users.
- On the Application and User Management - Business Users page, on the top-right, in the search box, search for the service agent you created in the previous step using the *<Service Agent ID>.
- Click on the User ID.
- On the Business User: <Service Agent ID> page, click Edit > Attributes.
- Change the user ID as per your business requirements.
- Set and confirm a password.
Note: Make a note of your user credentials. - Click Save and Close.
Step 1c: Assign work centers
- On the Application and User Management - Business Users page, click on the appropriate user.
- Click Edit > Access Rights.
- On the Work Center and View Assignment tab, grant the following permissions.
- PDI_Partner_Development
- ANA_BUSINESSANALYTICS
- PARTNER DEVELOPMENT FOR MCS
- Click Save.
- Click Close.
Step 1d: Change the initial password
Log in to the SAP Business ByDesign account using the user ID and password created in the above steps. It is recommended to change the initial password.
Step 1e: Share user details with Celigo
Share the User ID, password, and URL for your instance with Celigo.
Important: The user credentials need to be shared securely through LastPass.
Step 2: Install Multi-Customer Solution
To install the Multi-Customer Solution, contact Celigo Support.
Step 3: Activate Multi-Customer Solution
- Log into SAP Business ByDesign as a business user.
- Go to Business Configurations > Implementation Project.
- On the Business Configuration - Implementation Projects page, select the appropriate project and click Edit Project Scope.
- Click Next twice to go to the Scoping section.
- In the Scoping section, you will need to activate the option. Navigate to Built-in Services and Support > Business Configuration and check the box next to Celigo eCommerce Integration components.
- Click Next and in the Questions tab, accept the corresponding question.
- Click Next and in the Review tab, review and complete.
- Click Finish.
- On the Confirmation tab, click Close.
Step 4: Provide Work Center Access to Business User
- From your SAP Business ByDesign account, go to Application and User Management > Business Users.
- Search for the user you want to grant permissions to (you will need to grant access to the user that will be used in the integration connection).
- Click on the user and click Edit > Access Rights.
- On the Work Center and View Assignment tab click Find.
- On the Find and Locate window, in the search pane, enter Celigo*.
- Select one of the work centers that you need to provide access to
- For the Celigo eTail Integration, you will need
- Celigo eTail Item ID Map
- Celigo eTail Store Info
- Celigo eTail Customer ID Map
- For the Celigo eTail Integration, you will need
- Click Locate
- Check the Assigned to User box.
Note: Repeat for any other work centers needed - Click Save.
