Sync SAP Business ByDesign account to Salesforce account

The accounts director or manager must ensure that the accounts in SAP Business ByDesign are in sync with accounts in Salesforce.

Understand the flow

The SAP Business ByDesign account to Salesforce account (add/update) flow is a scheduled flow that syncs the SAP Business ByDesign accounts to Salesforce accounts. This flow also writes back the Salesforce account ID to the SAP Business ByDesign account. If the flow fails to add or update the account, an error message is displayed on the integrator.io Dashboard.

Sync SAP Business ByDesign accounts to Salesforce accounts

In the SAP Business ByDesign account to Salesforce account (add/update) flow, the Get accounts from SAP Business ByDesign export gets the accounts added or updated since the last flow run. This export step checks the corresponding accounts in Salesforce by matching the SAP ByD Account ID.

• If an account is found in Salesforce, the flow updates it. The success count is specified on the integration.io Dashboard.
• If an account is not found in Salesforce, the Post accounts to Salesforce import creates an account record in Salesforce. The success count is specified on the integration.io Dashboard.
• If the flow fails to create or update an account, an error message is displayed on the integration.io Dashboard.

The Writeback Salesforce Account ID to SAP Business ByDesign Account import writes back the newly created Salesforce account IDs to SAP Business ByDesign account.

SAP Business ByDesign account to Salesforce account

1. Log in to your integrator.io account
2. Click on the Salesforce - SAP Business ByDesign integration app tile.
3. Go Flows > Account.
4. Next to the SAP Business ByDesign account to Salesforce account (add/update) flow, use the toggle button to enable the flow.
5. If you run the flow for the first time, a delta flow pop-up window is displayed. This helps you to sync the historical orders. 
• Automatic: Choose this option to process and sync data from the last flow run time (OR)
• Custom: Choose this option to select a custom start date and time from when you wish to process and sync data.
  
6. Click Run.

You can see the flow status in the integrator.io Dashboard.
