The warehouse manager of an eCommerce manufacturer ensures that the inventory details of each product are available in different locations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and should be synced to the products listed in BigCommerce. This is to ensure that inventory is always up-to-date and avoid backorders or products being “sold out” scenarios.
Understand the flow
In the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central inventory to BigCommerce inventory (add or update) flow, the Get inventory from Microsoft Dynamics365 Business Central export runs a query to get the inventory balance report and inventory details of the products from each location in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central since the last flow run. The Post inventory to BigCommerce import updates the inventory for all products in BigCommerce and specifies the count of all inventory updates on the integrator.io Dashboard. This is a scheduled flow. If the flow fails to add or update the inventory, an error message is displayed on the integrator.io Dashboard.

Configure the flow settings
- Log in to your integrator.io account.
- Click on the BigCommerce - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central integration app tile.
- Go to Settings > Inventory.
- In the Select Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central locations to pick inventory from setting, choose one or more locations to pick inventory from (for all Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central items linked to BigCommerce), when you run the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central inventory to BigCommerce inventory (add or update) flow. If you select multiple locations, the inventory from all selected locations is synced to BigCommerce. If no location is selected, the inventory from all Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central locations is synced to BigCommerce.
- Click Save.

Run the flow
Know before you run the flow:
- The products should already exist in BigCommerce.
- Ensure that you run the BigCommerce product details to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Celigo eTail item map (add or ignore) flow before you run this flow.
To run the flow:
- Go to Flows > Inventory.
- Next to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central inventory to BigCommerce inventory (add or update) flow, use the toggle button to enable the flow.
- If you run the flow for the first time, a delta flow pop-up window is displayed. This helps you to sync the historical products.
- Automatic: Choose this option to process and sync data from the last flow run time (OR)
- Custom: Choose this option to select a custom start date and time from when you wish to process and sync data.
- Click Run.
You can see the flow status in the integrator.io Dashboard.
