I LOVE the new errors and retries UI (Courtney, you already know this!). I've got a client that sometimes takes a few days to resolve data issues before we can retry failed imports in IO. Let's say an order failed to import due to inadequate stock. Pretty common. In this case I'd email the team responsible for this and tell them what the issue is. Once they resolve the issue they email me and I retry the order.
I'm finding that I'm getting tripped up with the errors and keeping notes in an external application for errors awaiting action before retrying. What I'd like to see is the ability to enter notes on an error, something like:
Waiting for stock to be added, should be done by 12/18
Then when I'm going through errors I can avoid researching issues I've already researched.
Building on that, a "Status" column for errors with values like "New", "Awaiting Resolution", etc. would be handy. Every error that I email the team about I set to "Awaiting Resolution" and then I can filter those out so I'm only looking at new errors.
