We've been trying to work with Mapper 2.0 and it's good but I feel like a working session with someone who knows it well would advance my ability to utilize it quickly.

Hi MaLena, I have to open a ticket for office hours. It's not really a viable option.
Are you aware of the release schedule for mapper 2.0? There was a plan to sunset mapper 1.0 this year. Is that still the plan?
I already have a Level 4 cert and I don't really want to tab through a bunch of training just to get to one exercise on Mapper 2.0.
If Mapper 2.0 is no longer a major priority, then no training is needed. If it is going to the new mapping engine, then not having training available specifically for this feature would make that transition much more difficult.
I'm pretty mystified as to why this major change to the software isn't being rolled out with more change management. What am I missing???

The learning path was revamped into smaller lessons. You should be able to go directly to the Mapper 2.0 lessons in the mapping course. The option to complete the modules in a certain order was removed. But, once again, it's a general overview.
I don't have any information on the timeline for product releases, as I work on Celigo University, not the product side. I asked and was told the plan to sunset Mapper 1.0 is not for this year. While Mapper 2.0 works for HTTP and file transfer imports, it's still being rolled out in other areas. You may want to post those questions on the Community basics part of the Help Center, instead of the Celigo University, to see if someone there who works on the product side has more information.
I shared the topics you listed for consideration for future trainings. The self-paced certification learning paths are in the process of being revamped, and there are regular updates to workshops offered. I anticipate Mapper 2.0 will be included in these changes. Thank you again for that topic list.

Thanks for the follow up MaElena. I will review the course material. It's good to here there's more time to make the transition to Mapper 2.0.
