  • Hi Anuj,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Can you please provide us with the lookup ID?

  • I also ran into this exact issue today as well. I cloned an export and then went to add it into a flow and it was nowhere to be found (i.e. it didn't pull up in the list). Curious to see if others have experienced this as well as I hadn't seen this before. Also, I will note that mine was using SF and not http.

  • Sorry about this. There is currently a 1 day delay for new stuff to show up. We are going to be fixing this asap (ideally by Monday). Stay tuned.

  • Hi Scott Henderson still facing the same issue. Please Look into that ASPS.

Apologies for the inconvenience. We have finished the development work, and it is currently under QA testing. We aim to deploy the hotfix by tomorrow. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

  • I just ran into this too - BUMMER!

Is there a specific ETA? If it's hours away I can maybe wait, if not I'll keep going and do it manually.

  • Hi Steve Klett, David Gollom, Anuj kumar Maurya, Dave Guderian,

We've resolved the issue you were experiencing. Could you please check and confirm if your existing resources are now visible as expected? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Om-

I am able to see the resources as expected so that is great news. I will say, this seems like a step back from the design beforehand. It may be just be me, but I have to do a lot of scrolling to find the exports/imports I need in the list. Again, it may be just me, but wanted to offer that feedback in response to the design change.

Thanks for fixing the issue though and glad its working now.

No, This isn't working for me. I cloned a Salesforce export in the resources section yesterday and I can't see it as an available resource when I try to add a new Export.  Does this only show you resources that are utilized within a flow?

  • Hey Dave Guderian, in our upcoming April release you will see a new search field that allows you to find existing exports/imports using a natural language search field. This will help you find what you are looking for by simply describing it.

Taking a step back, our primary goal with these big UX changes was to make it fundamentally easier to find existing exports/imports in both the marketplace and the current account, and to make cloning the default optimized behavior. We removed the connection field from the search drawer for the following reasons.

    1. We wanted to enable searching for exports/imports across connections, because it is very common for larger integrator.io accounts to have multiple connections for the same apps (i.e. for different teams to have diff permissions), and we wanted to maximize the ability to share exports/imports across connections for the same apps.
    2. We wanted to enable the ability to see the export/import pre-built configurations without having to create a connection first. For example, maybe you are building an import for Shopify that is really hard to build, and you cannot find anything in the marketplace matching your use case for Shopify, but maybe there is something there for Magento in the marketplace, and you want to take a peek at how it was done for Magento without needing a Magento connection in the account, etc...

That all said, we (me!) made a mistake removing the ability to find exports/imports via the connection, and we are rushing mocks now to bring this back as a localized filter, and hopefully we can have this by May; and then of course the April release will allow you to find stuff in the meantime by describing your use case.

    Hope this explanation helps!

  • Hi David Gollom

Sorry to hear this. A couple of questions.

    1. Could you please confirm whether Salesforce was selected as the application while creating the export?
    2. How many exports are currently present in your IO account in total?

For the question "Does this only show you resources that are utilized within a flow?"
the answer is "No" we don't have any specific logic of that nature. It seems possible that you might have not selected Salesforce from the Application field during export creation. This field will help in narrowing down the search and achieving more accurate results.

    Thanks,

    Om Mishra

  • Om Mishra I'm also experiencing issues with existing objects not available in the existing list when creating a new Export.

Here's my resource view, you can see it's a NetSuite export (I prefixed it with "xxx" to make it stand out):

And here's the new Netsuite Export dialog (I viewed all the existing steps and it's not there)

I also don't care for the new UI. Too busy and it's more difficult to find an existing step that it used to be. The "Create from Scratch" feels strange, seems like it should say "Create New".

Maybe the marketplace steps could be on a collapsed panel?

  • Steve Klett can you check back after 15 minutes and let us know if the export is still missing? Also, there is a limit of 150 matches currently, and maybe you have more than 150 NetSuite exports?, and then unfortunately you will need to wait for the natural language search field to be released in a couple weeks.

  • Scott Henderson no luck, still not there. I have 104 exports, 50 of which are NetSuite exports.

...will need to wait for the natural language search field to be released in a couple weeks...

This search will handle non-natural language searches? For example search for all or part of an export's name? I won't be required to describe the export (or import) in order to find it, will I?

Like I have an export named "E-01 : Export Past Due Work Orders" and I search for "past due work" (sans quotes) it will match my export?

  • Thanks for confirming this is not a timing issue. I will pass along this update to the team.

The natural language search will use the name field to find results. i.e. "past due work" will return "E-01 : Export Past Due Work Orders". In fact, "past due export", "pst due exp" (i.e. typos) should also find the same matches.

  • Hi Om Mishraj,

I can confirm that I had selected Salesforce as the application and that the IO account has 11 exports.

I think this will be a cool feature after refinement.

  • Hi Steve Klett,

You should be able to see "XXXE01: Export Orders for Status Update" export now, and thanks for all your valuable feedback. We will be discussing this internally.

    David Gollom

We relooked it and found something odd and fixed it. Now you should be able to see 11 exports once you select the Salesforce application.

    Thanks,
    Om Mishra

  • Om Mishra Confirmed, I see the export. Thanks for the update and fix.

That's sound great, thanks for the additional confirmation.
