More Information on Import and Export Pages

There are only three columns that appear on both the 'imports' and 'exports' page,  name, application, last updated. It would be nice to have some additional information to help clean up the tiles or make necessary updates.

Suggested Export Columns

  • Part of what data flow
  • Part of what integration
  • Is the data flow active
  • What record does it touch
  • what is the schedule for the export

Suggested Import Columns

  • Import type, add, update, lookup
  • Part of what data flow
  • Part of what integration
  • Is the data flow active
  • What record does is touch

I know you can click into the tile from the imports and export pages to view all of the details but if you have hundreds of imports and exports to sift through, it can be extremely time-consuming.

I recently isolated the item mapping records for two websites into a single record in NetSuite. To make sure Celigo was updated, I had to open a lot of data flows and step through all the tiles on all the branches to find all the imports that were pointing to a specific record. If the 'record' was listed on the imports page, it would have made the process significantly easier.

Having information showing if the import or export is part of an active data flow would help determine if it is something that can be deleted.

Including the export schedule would be very beneficial as it would help determine if there are changes that need to be made or if additional connections are needed to open the concurrency to the application in order to handle more data at once.
