Bug in Shopify transaction to NetSuite customer deposit (add)
Hi,
The Shopify transaction to NetSuite customer deposit (add) process has a bug in it. When POS orders from Shopify create Cash Sale records in NetSuite the associated shopify Transaction record should not be sent to the deposit creation flow. Is there a way to prevent this? It's generating invalid transaction errors since you can't create a customer deposit on a Cash Sale in NetSuite.

Hi David Gollom
Thanks for bringing this to us.
For POS Orders in the /transactions.json we have a check for source_name = 'POS'. In case the value of the source_name is not set to 'POS', the Cash Deposit flow is getting triggered.
As a workaround to ignore importing all POS orders as cash sales in NetSuite we can set a input filter : 'record.device_id' is empty in NetSuite bubble in the "Shopify transaction to NetSuite customer deposit (add) flow".
We would suggest to raise a support ticket to get the workaround implemented.

Hi Nilesh,
Thanks for the work around. I'll get that implemented.

For one of my clients, they do buy in store and ship to home transactions. For this use case, they do need the POS transaction to post a Sales Order and Deposit. So, the device_id filter won't work for them. It would be good to get this bug fixed.
thanks.
