Noob integrator question

We have Celigo running for a while and happy and all that.

But now we want to add another connection, since we want to connect to a distribution center and hook that up to Netsuite.

Currently I have as Endpoints 2 of 3 slots used. One of them is already used by Netsuite, which is good. I assume that would be sufficient, so I could use the free slot for the distrib center. Is that correct?

Now, this distrib center uses an API with multiple url's...  Would that mean that I would need an Endpoint for each of the urls?

And lastly.. is there any information available on how to make a connection for fulfilled orders coming back into Netsuite?

I'm new to creating custom flows, hence my questions. Please forgive me if I posted this the wrong way!

  • Johan van Langevelde you can see how endpoint licensing is counted here: https://docs.celigo.com/hc/en-us/articles/8136520732059-How-much-capacity-does-my-account-have

You are correct in that you can use the same NetSuite endpoint for these other new flows or even make a connection to another NetSuite instance and it count as one endpoint.

As for the distribution center, is it one we have a connector for? If so, then each would count only as 1. If not, then each would count separately (if the base uri is different for each). What is different about the uris? Is the subdomain different for each location? How many locations would it be? If subdomain is different for each and we don't have a connector, I would suggest reaching out to your account executive and seeing if something can be worked out.

  • Thank you, Tyler Lamparter for your response.

To give a couple of examples:

To submit the order to them: https://webservice.thisdomain.com/company.order/ReceiveXML.aspx
To get info back for fulfillment: https://webservice.thisdomain.com/company.shipping.detail/ReceiveXML.aspx

So yes, same domain, but different paths. Does that matter? I assume it does, but I may be wrong?

  • Johan van Langevelde perfect, that would count as 1. So on your connection, just make the base uri:

    https://webservice.thisdomain.com

Then on your flows, add the relative uri path you need specific for that operation.

  • Tyler Lamparter Thanks.. I'll see what I can do with that.

Now, I currently use the Shopify-Netsuite integration. That -of course- contains all types of flows. Is there a way to copy over a flow (or export/import?) to create the Item Fulfillment from the Distribution center into Netsuite? (That would eliminate the Netsuite Item Fulfillment part for me, since that already is configured correctly...)

  • Johan van Langevelde there isn't a way to copy integration app flows or steps directly (can have two browser tabs open at the same time), but you can go to the marketplace and find similar flows or if you go to an empty flow canvas, add a source/destination, then put in your application, it will list out several bubbles that may match your need. From there you can further refine your search by describing what you want to do and then just choose the marketplace flow bubble.

  • Hi Tyler Lamparter,

Thank you for the screenshot. I am looking at it, and tried it out, however:

Under "Your existing flow steps" I see "No results found"

Under "Marketplace flow steps" I see a lot of "Import.." ones and "Create Order" or "Create Invoice", but NOTHING that even starts with the word "NetSuite" like the "NetSuite Item Fulfillment Import" that you showed me.

    Am I missing something?

  • Johan van Langevelde can you screenshot what you're seeing?

  • Johan van Langevelde after typing into the describe use case field, can you hit enter while your cursor is in there?

  • Tyler Lamparter Aha... I didn't know that. I never did that before, because I thought it was a choice whether I wanted to fill that out "or choose from below" where it would give all kinds of different options.

That being said.. I now have those options, however, I am picking up xml shipment information files and need to turn those into fulfillment records.

The first one in the image is stuff coming from Amazon, so I assume I can't use that. Second one is Snapfulfil orders, I assume I can't use that either. Not sure if I can use "Update Fulfillment". As for "Import NetSuite item shipments", would those create/update fulfillment records?

  • Johan van Langevelde none of these will perfectly fit your need or your incoming data structure, but it gives you a starting point to work from so you'll have to choose one and then modify it for your specific use case.
