  Thanks for your response.

  Here is the flow context: Inventory levels are being exported from NetSuite for a storefront. Rather frequently, the locations and inventory statuses that should be displayed on the storefront need to be adjusted. Thus, we were trying to provide a simple way for non-technical users to toggle exports on/off for certain locations and statuses.

  There are two workarounds that I have identified:

  • Export all locations/statuses in the search; then use a hook to filter and process these results based on the custom form settings.
  • Train users in the direct entry of values into the additional search criteria fields.

  The former requires additional developer upkeep due to the additional script, and also increases processing time because many unneeded records are exported and processed. The latter increases the potential for errors due to the precise way values must be entered. Thus, using a custom form setting directly in the additional search criteria is the ideal solution, but it is not essential.
