Connecting to local/on-premise file share

Does anyone know if there's a way to connect to an on-premise network file share?  I had hoped that the on-premise agent would provide access, but it appears that it does not.

    Hi RSCS SaaS Admin,

    At this time, on-premise agent supports these connectors: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, REST, and HTTP connections and none of these connectors supports file processing capabilities.
