Using HubSpot Connection for Webhooks
Hi Everyone,
I'd like to use HubSpot's webhooks to watch for changes in certain properties on Contacts in HubSpot. The webhook configuration in HubSpot requires that an app be setup with OAuth authentication. Is there a way to leverage the installed Celigo App to create webhook subscriptions within HubSpot? I'm guessing no, but I thought I would ask.
Thank you!

Hey There,
I was able to get this working!! I created an app in my HubSpot developer account and then I used the basic HTTP connector's OAuth 2.0 flow to install the app into the HubSpot Account. Works!

Hi David Gollom,
Thanks so much for letting us know about this need. Although you can't do this via our Celigo App, you can try either of these other options and another question for you:
- Create a developer account, then create a simple app and register a webhook on that app. You'll use that app key in integrator.io.
- HubSpot has workflows for certain editions. If they have access to these workflows, you can create a trigger webhook action. Does your HubSpot edition enable you to create a trigger webhook action?

Hi Courtney,
Thanks for confirming. I'll check into the Trigger webhook action and see if that's available.

That's great to hear, David Gollom! Thanks so much for letting us know! Onward and upward!

Am I reading this correctly, in that if your HubSpot edition does NOT support HS workflows that 'trigger a webhook' there is a workaround where you can still configure a real-time HS export in IO?

Hi Andrew - You have to configure your webhook application within hubspot. you have to use a hubspot developer account to do this. There's pretty good documentation on their developer site. Once you have hubspot setup to send webhooks, you can create a listener connection in IIO to receive the webhooks and process them as needed.
