FTP - Multiple items are not being uploaded

I am using an FTP connection and when the flow is connected only the first line item is being transferred and is being duplicated for the total of number of lines I have in the csv.

So in this example the first line item is being duplicated 6 times with the same rate of 148.95.

My key is the vendor id. Mapping is as follows:

What am I doing wrong?

  • Hi Paul Navarrete,

Could you check your item mappings and see if the Use first row checkbox was automatically checked? It should be unchecked. You could also try unchecking Group rows on the export. Let us know if that works!

  • The unchecking the Use first row fixed it.

    Thanks!

  • Follow up question. I am experiencing same issue. Can you explain where to find the "Use First Row" Check box or what needs to be mapped at the item level to make sure this is unchecked.

  • Hi Emily Minck,

In order to use the option you need to Group records in your export.

Then in the import mapping, this field (state in example) needs to be mapped as Item sublist (shown below)

You can then use "Use first row" from the gearbox to update the destination sublist fields using only the value of the first sublist retrieved for the record. Alternatively, you can uncheck this checkbox for your use case.

Please let us know if you have any more questions or concerns.

    Best Regards,

    Rohit Prasad

  • Hello

Though I appreciate your response, my account doesn't have this check box available at the item level mapping. I currently have a case open hopefully I will be able to figure it out with them.

    Thanks
    Em
