Shopify Payout Flow

We are planning to use Shopify payout integration but we are not sure if the flow covers our requirements.

Our process is:

Once we get the order we create customer deposit transaction at the same time in Netusite. Once the order is invoiced, system applies this deposit to the invoice. These previous processes are created via integration by Celigo. Then we create a journal to let the payout in Netsuite manually. We want that part is automatic but I am not sure if the flow works if an order has a linked deposit.

Also, in an article it says the flow creates deposit transaction in Netsuite, I was wondering what deposit transaction is it? Is it Customer deposit or bank deposit?

Could you please advise?

  Hello Umat,

  As Hairball.io mentioned, the Shopify Payout Add-on creates a Bank Deposit (Make Deposit) with all the matching transactions (Customer Deposits, Refunds, and Cash Sales).

  Shopify Payouts work matches Customer Deposits, Refunds and Cash Sales so it will work for you.

  Once it matches transactions and amounts it creates a Bank Deposit.
