    Celigo University Level 4: Legendary

Hello Nuri Ensing, I'm a product manager in the platform team at Celigo. Thank you for sharing this feedback. It is in line with one of the initiatives I'm working on. So, I wanted more clarification on this request. Could you help me understand the request further by answering the following questions:

    1. What information would developers like to put on notes?
    2. Why this information makes sense at every flow step? Could this information also exist at the flow level?
    3. How would developers use this information after the flow is built?
    4. Would someone other than developers require this information on notes? If yes, what would be their roles in the organization? How would these people use this information?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards!

    Hi Amanjot,

The notes/comments is useful for any kind of information like: to do tasks on the flow, where you was left off, asking for other developer(s) to complete the flow step, extra information etc.
In my opinion the notes can best be applied to the flow level and step. Applying to both will give the dev more flexibility. I think that when applying notes only to the flow level the notes can become a bit big and chaotic. Applying only to the flow step means that you do not have a general note intended for the whole level.

It is the responsibility of the dev to remove/clean up the notes whenever he wishes to.
Apart from the dev I currently do not see any use for other users to apply notes, I think that non-dev users  can also email/use tools like jira in order to inform the devs what their wishes are?

    Thank you.

Nuri Ensing Thank you for answering the queries. I understand the use case for having notes at every step, It would allow you to add comments or inform others in the team about the progress of building flow and assign tasks if needed.

I'm still curious about the information that you would like to put in notes at the flow level?

About your statement "Apart from the dev I currently do not see any use for other users to apply notes, I think that non-dev users  can also email/use tools like jira in order to inform the devs what their wishes are?"  Could you help me walk through a use case regarding what would non-dev users need from dev?

    Best Regards!
