Rest API Lookup issue

I had a Rest API Lookup where preview is showing success and fetching data. But when I try to filter the data inside lookup it says data cannot be pulled with some issue. Could you please help me on this.

    Whats the "Some issue" 

    Honestly I've been instructed to use the http connection type in most cases vs the Rest API lookup. 

    (are there any screenshots you can share without breaching any privacy concerns)
