NetSuite Import Inventory Count.

Before I go down this rabbit hole, I want to confirm that I can do with Data Loader what I can do via the NetSuite UI when it comes completing NetSuite Inventory Counts.  The reason I ask is I noticed that when it mapping fields, I could not find the Inventory Details fields available for mapping.

Yes, Rhys, Dat Loader is a fully supported part of our platform.

  • Thanks for posting this to the community, Rhys Gottwald. Could you provide more details to help us understand what you mean by "fully supported"?

  • Anitha Abraham Matt Graney I realise now that I was not that clear in my original question, and by not that clear I mean totally non sensical, sorry.

What I meant to ask is, can do with Data Loader what I can do via the NetSuite UI when it comes completing NetSuite Inventory Counts.  The reason I ask is I noticed that when it mapping fields, I could not find the Inventory Details fields available for mapping.

I have updated my question to be more accurate.

    Thanx

  • Hi Rhys,

I understand that some fields are missing in the mapping drop-down list of "inventory count" record. This is a list of all standard fields available on that record type. Can you please refer to the page and let us know which fields are missing for you?

Also, coming to data loader, you can do every operation with integrator.io (including data loader) except changing the status of an inventory count record, because NetSuite restricts that to be done via NetSuite UI only. Refer 'Usage Notes' section in this article.

  • Hi Sachin Goud Godishela

What we are hoping to use Data loader for is to import a stock count via CSV and all items on the count will be lot or serial numbered items.

I have reviewed the recordborswer and the fields that I am missing are those that form part of the countdetail set of fields.

I have attached some screen shots to help point them out

  • Hi Rhys,

The Count Detail field, as we can see is a subrecord, and currently we do not support mapping for fields on this subrecord. Thanks for letting us know about this, it'll be fixed in one of our upcoming releases.

In case this is a blocker to any of your business processes, do raise a support ticket for the same and we'll prioritize it to be fixed as soon as possible.
