Enhancement request for cash sale edits and return flows

Issue 1:

The current shopify netsuite integration app can sync the shopify order edits into netsuite and update the lines on the sales order. However, I found that this is not the case if the netsuite transaction is a Cash Sale. I tried to sync the order edits using batch flow where the order filter was last updated time. When run with this settings the order edit gets ignored in the import step.

Many retail firms use Shopify POS in their physical stores and sync the POS orders as Cash Sales in NetSuite. In the physical store, they will be engaged in the product exchange situations all the times. In this case when you return (and refund) one item and add a new item to the POS order. Not only these updated lines will not be reflected in NetSuite but also the refund triggered in Shopify due to returned item will error out in the refund flow since the item lines from Shopify side and NetSuite side does not match.

To keep information in both the system consistent, can we enhance the current shopify netsuite integration app to accommodate the order edits that will change netsuite cash sales.

Note: If someone was able to do this successfully in the past in the current integration app, please ignore my enhancement request for this issue and comment your solution.

Issue 2:

Do we have any add-on in the Shopify - NetSuite integration app for returns? Many firms who process returns are interesting in syncing the shopify returns in NetSuite as Return Authorizations (RMA) and Item Receipts (IR). For firms operating at large scale this becomes a critical issue.

If the current app does have this provision can someone assist me with how to avail this? If there is no such add-on can Celigo work on having this feature in the app.

  • Hi John Baptista
The POS exchanges scenario is supported in the IA. Kindly refer to the KB Article for more details.
The second scenario can be addressed through a custom flow.

You can contact support for assistance.
