How to Treat a single parent matrix item in NetSuite as multiple parent products in Shopify?

As we know Shopify doesn't allow more than 100 Variants.  

Shopify will need the colorways as separate products in order to cope with this scenario, and the 1:1 relationship of Shopify product variant <-> NetSuite child matrix item is an absolute/immutable, no product options type solution will work with this.

  This is Khaisar for Celigo. Please allow me to answer this query. 
  I see there is a possibility to handle this using "Virtual Variations". You can find more details on this here. We are suggesting to create a individual parent items for each 100 variants and assign it accordingly. We will also need to tweak the Saved Search criteria, such that is qualifies only the Virtual variation parents. So, now the Matrix Item export flow will consider those Virtual variation groups over the Matrix Items. 

  Please check this aproach and let us know if this is a feasible solution for you. Let us know if you require any further clarifications on the Saved Search criteria.
