Accounting - Setting GL Impact via Integrator, possible?

Hello,

We are wondering if there is a way to set the income account dynamically with an Integration App or otherwise. I've learned that normally NetSuite has account level default accounts that can be overridden at the item level.

These create the StandardLines of the GL Impact and their are plug-in customization to reclassify etc. What we want to do is set the income account dynamically for cash sales (Shopify IA etc.) so they can track the source store from shopify (as they acquired a new store), this helps them build the correct 'GL String'.

I'm not aware of another option than the above defaulting and the plug-in customization. Wondering if this is correct?

  The income account in NetSuite is tied to the Item. The way to track sales to different stores is not by account. It's by using a custom segment or possibly the department or class values.  NetSuite is very limited in its ability to assign income accounts.  

  You are correct, you can't just set the GL Impact.
