NetSuite Customers - Salesforce Accounts (Mapping 'Sales Rep' in NS to 'Account Owner' in Salesforce)

I thought I would take a moment to share a solution for an issue I was facing for the past week. I was trying to find a way to map the Sales Rep's name in NetSuite, to the Account Owner field on an account record in Salesforce.

After lots of trial and error I finally found the solution.

The mapping for this needs to be set as a lookup, taking 'Sales Rep' from the NetSuite side (Source Record) and populating this to 'Owner ID' on the Salesforce side (Destination Record Side)

The settings mapping should be set up as follows - 'Field Mapping Type' : Lookup --- 'Dynamic Salesforce Search' ---- 'sObject Type' : User ---- Add Filter : Full Name = Sales Rep ----- ' Value Field' : User ID

Follow these steps and you can easily set the 'Account Owner' field for new/existing accounts in Salesforce as the 'Sales Rep' information in NetSuite!
