Question:
Can I use "SKU" as an identifier other than "itemid" to link items between NetSuite and Shopify?
Answer:
"itemid" is the identifier that the Shopify Integration App uses to link items between NetSuite and Shopify.
If you want to use a different identifier other than "itemid" to identify the item, then the following are the flows where the change needs to be made.
- Order Import Flow (starter (previously "standard") edition)
- Product ID Import Flow (starter (previously "standard") edition)
This flow is a helper flow that brings the Shopify ID back to NetSuite and creates a link between the Shopify item and the NetSuite item.
The flow does a search in NetSuite for a matching SKU and if it finds that item, it links that item to the Shopify product ID.
- Item Export Flow (standard (previously "premium") edition)
The changes in this flow are only required in the saved search. The default value that is coming in for SKU in the saved search is "itemid". You just need to change the Saved search to bring this value from the changing field.
Please contact Celigo Support to modify the backend flow for the 'Shopify Product ID to NetSuite Mass Update' flow.
