Set up a connection to Clearbit

Clearbit is a data activation platform that helps B2B teams understand customers, identify prospects, and personalize interactions with real-time intelligence.

Set up a connection

This video demonstrates creating a Clearbit connection.

After you start the connection , configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Setting

Instructions

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

API type *

Choose the API type, depending on the Clearbit API type you're connecting to. The settings then become specific to the selected API type.

Auth type *

Select your connection’s authentication type (Basic or Token).

API key *

Enter your Clearbit API key.

Multiple layers of protection are in place, including AES 256 encryption, to keep your connection’s API key safe. When editing this form later, you must enter this token again; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.
