Set up a connection to Akeneo

Akeneo streamlines and enhances the management of product data to help companies organize and classify their products, manage attributes and variations, handle digital assets like images and videos, and maintain data quality through validation rules and workflows.

Set up a connection

This video demonstrates creating an Akeneo connection.

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

Instance URL *

Enter your Akeneo account instance URL. For example, if your URL is https://celigo-536b7d9c2a.trial.akeneo.cloud/ then, the instance URL is celigo-536b7d9c2a.trial.akeneo.cloud.

Username *

Enter your Akeneo account username.

Client ID *

Enter your Akeneo client ID.

How to retrieve the username, password, client ID, and client secret

  1. Sign in to your Akeneo account.

  2. Navigate to Connect > Connection settings.

  3. Click Create.

  4. Enter Label.

  5. Select Flow type.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Copy Username.

  8. Copy Password.

  9. Copy Client ID.

  10. Copy Client secret.
