Set up a connection to Sprout Solutions

Sprout Solutions is payroll management software designed to simplify and streamline HR operations for businesses. It offers tools for payroll processing, employee self-service, and compliance management – enhancing efficiency and compliance for companies.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings: 

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name.
Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.
API type * 

Choose the API type, depending on the Sprout Solutions API type you're connecting to:

  • Clock in/out: Choose to track and export your daily attendance with the exact time in/out.
  • Non-clock in/out: Choose to get employee work information.
Environment *

Select your Sprout Solutions account environment type.

  • Production: if your Sprout Solutions Non-clock in/out account URL is https://api.sprout.ph/ or your Sprout Solutions Clock in/out account URL is https://clients.hrhub.ph/.
  • Sandbox: if your Sprout Solutions Non-clock in/out account URL is https://gateway-sb.sprout.ph/ or your Sprout Solutions Clock in/out account URL is https://sandbox.hrhub.ph/.
OAuth 2.0
client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided by Sprout Solutions.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit ( ) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource.

Subscription key *

Enter your Sprout Solutions subscription key.
Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your subscription key safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

You will get an email from Sprout Solutions support instructing you how to retrieve the client ID and client secret. For more information, see Integrate with Sprout.

  1. Sign in to your Sprout Solutions account.
  2. Navigate to Profile > Subscriptions.
  3. Click Show and copy the Primary key.
