Set up a connection to NICE CXone

NICE CXone manages all voice and digital customer interactions across the complete journey in one complete CX platform.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings:

Name your connection *

Enter a clear and distinguishable name.

Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.

API type *

Choose your NICE CXone API type:

  • Admin: get the system resource call collection details such as agents or skills

  • Agent: get the manage interaction details such as phone calls or chats

  • Business data: get the business data microservice details

  • Data extraction: get the extracted data from CXone for external reporting

  • Digital engagement: get integration details between the NICE CXone digital platform and a third-party messaging application

  • Media playback: get CXone recording media details

  • Patron: get patron-facing application details

  • Real-time data: get the real-time platform data

  • Reporting: get the historical platform data

  • User hub: get the access key documentation details

  • WFM: get individual agent schedules details

Domain *

Enter your NICE CXone account domain. For example, if your NICE CXone account URL is https://xyz.niceincontact.com, then xyz.niceincontact.comis your domain.

Version * (This setting is visible only when you select the Admin, Agent, Patron, Real-time data, or Reporting API type)

Enter your NICE CXone API version.

OAuth 2.0 client *

Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided by the NICE CXone supported team. For more information on how to retrieve the client ID and client secret, see Application registration.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit ( edit.svg ) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource.
