Set up a connection to Contentstack

Contentstack is a leading headless content management system (CMS) that enables businesses to create, manage, and deliver digital content across various channels and devices.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings: 

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name.
Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.
API type *

Choose your Contentstack account API type:

  • Content delivery API: Get the content delivered to your web or mobile property details
  • Content management API: Get content managing details like create, update, fetch, and delete
Environment *

Select your Contentstack environment:

  • Azure North America: if your account URL is https://azure-na-cdn.contentstack.com/ 
  • Azure Europe: if your account URL is https://azure-eu-cdn.contentstack.com/ 
  • Europe: if your account URL is https://eu-cdn.contentstack.com/ 
  • North America: if your account URL is https://cdn.contentstack.io/ 
API key *

Enter your Contentstack API key.
Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your API key safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

API type: Content delivery API

Delivery token *

Enter your Contentstack delivery token.

Fetch data How to retrieve the delivery token

API type: Content management API

Auth token *

Enter your Contentstack auth token.
Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your token safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

  1. Sign in to your Contentstack account. 
  2. Navigate to Settings > Tokens > Delivery tokens.

  3. Click + Delivery token. For detailed information, see Create a delivery token.
  4. Enter a Name and Description.
  5. Select Scopes and Publishing environment.
  6. Toggle on Preview token.
  7. Click Generate token.
  8. Copy the Stack API key.

  9. Copy the Delivery token.
  1. Sign in to your Contentstack account. 
  2. Navigate to User session > Login to your account.
  3. Copy the Auth token. For detailed information, see Authentication tokens.
