Set up a connection to Shopware

Shopware is a powerful e-commerce platform that empowers businesses to create customizable and scalable online stores tailored to their specific needs. It enables merchants to deliver engaging shopping experiences and drive growth in the digital marketplace.

Set up a connection

After you start the connection, configure it in the Create connection panel and complete all of the required * authentication settings: 

Setting Instructions
Name your connection * Enter a clear and distinguishable name. Throughout integrator.io imports and exports, you will have the option to choose this new connection. A unique identifier will prove helpful later when selecting it from a list of the connections in your account.
API type *

Choose your Shopware account API type:

  • Admin: Get administrative task details such as product, media, and document management
  • Store: Get store details such as product or customers

Domain *

 Enter your Shopware account domain. For example if your account URL is https://demo.shopware.com, then demo.shopware.com is the domain. For more information, see Domain.

API type: Admin 
OAuth 2.0 client *  Select the OAuth 2.0 client that stores the client ID and client secret provided by Shopware.

To add an OAuth 2.0 client and configure your credentials, click the plus (+) button. Click the edit ( ) button to modify a selected OAuth 2.0 client. For more information, see Create an OAuth 2.0 iClient resource.

Fetch data How to retrieve the client ID and client secret

Valid domain
name *

 Enter your unique domain name of the OAuth URLs as comma-separated values. For example, if your URL is https://shopware.prd.foodspring.com, then foodspring.com is the valid domain name.

API type: Store

Token *

Enter your Shopware token.

Multiple layers of protection, including AES 256 encryption, are in place to keep your token safe. When editing this connection, you must re-enter this value each time; it is stored only when the connection is saved and never displayed as text.

How to retrieve the client ID and client secret

  1. Sign in to your Shopware account. 
  2. Navigate to Settings > System > Integrations.
  3. Click Create integration.
  4. Enter a Name and define Roles.
  5. Copy the Access key ID (client ID).
  6. Copy the Secret access key (client secret).

How to retrieve the token

  1. Sign in to your Shopware account. 
  2. Navigate to Settings > System > API access.
  3. Click Create new API key.
  4. Copy the API key. For more information, see API access.
